Saanthrithazh Movie Review

Although cinema is a commercial art no one expects every film produced to have a message. But it is important to convey some thoughts to the audience through some cinema. The film ‘Saanthrithazh’, which gives such a good thought, means that the laws of the village shown by the director of the film are more than those of the Arab countries. In particular, the restriction that no one should watch TV serials after 6 pm., the restriction that only one cutting (half of a quarter) per person per day is allowed in the liquor shop. This Saanthrithazh team has succeeded in making people long for it.

In other words, the villagers of Karurai in Dindigul district are living morally and harmoniously by making separate laws for themselves. Knowing this excellence of Karurai village, the central government announces the best village award, but the villagers refuse to buy the award. Due to this, the enraged minister tries to stigmatize the sanctum sanctorum village. The efforts of the minister and the reason why the villagers refused to accept the award, on the one hand, the great sacrifice of Vildi Sami after converting the village from a liberation village to a sanctum sanctorum and what he lost to build his dream village is the story of the film ‘Saanthrithazh’.

Hari, who is playing the role of Vellachami, who is not only white, shirtless but crawling with whiteness inside, stumbles upon the disturbing scenes of the plight of his villagers. Roshan Basheer, who plays a young man from Karurai village, and Aashika Asokan, who plays a reporter, have few romantic scenes, but the film is cool for both of them. Radharavi in the role of Minister, Aruldas and actress Kelasalya have added strength to the film with their experienced performances. Ravi Maria grabs attention.. Not bad in Manobala and Aditya Kathir scenes. Tanisha Kupanda, Aditya Kathir, Kajal Pasupathi, Uma Sri and other stars in the film have overacted in the style of SJ Suriya.

Cameraman S.S. Ravimaran Sivan beautifully captures the entire village and song scenes from a hawk’s angle. In Biju Jacob’s music, the songs and background music are fine on stage.

Through a cinema made at the expense of several lakhs, the rare idea that individual human discipline and control is very important for every person, and if that is the case, the whole town will be controlled and disciplined, but this ‘Saanthrithazh’ is good.

Average Movie : 3/5
